Types of courses.
All courses are available a all levels, from complete beginners to advanced. Please choose the most suitable course for yourself from our offer of courses.
You also need to choose between the following courses:
- General English
- English for Specific Purposes (i.e. for job-related purposes, exam preparation, travelling, or for living in an English-speaking country).
The General English course will practise the language
skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, with
extra activities to improve pronunciation and intonation,
expand vocabulary and use grammar correctly and confidently.
An equal focus will be put on both fluency and accuracy
of language use. The teaching materials will take those
topics into consideration which are of particular interest
to you. Incorporated into the course will be a learner training
component which will aim to equip you with additional effective
learning strategies.
The English for Specific Purposes course will offer all the components mentioned for the General English course, but it's main aim will be to enable you to function in English in your chosen field or to pass an exam in English.

 The 'classroom'
|
Most courses are taught on a 1:1 basis. These lessons will benefit you most because the teaching is highly intensive and the course tailor-made for your personal learning needs.
It is very rare for several bookings to occur at the same time-period for a course in the same field bby clients whose language needs and level are similar. If you want to book a course together with friends or colleagues, please ask about our group rates.
For the fastest possible progress to be made, we recommend that you bring your own walkman, empty cassettes and headphones so that you can record your morning lessons and consolidate the material worked through, by listening actively to the lessons again during your free time.
Because you will be staying in your teacher's home, there
will be far more opportunites to practise your English with
your teacher outside the lessons than would be possible at
any language school.
Your teacher will correct you and explain grammar points during the rest of the day.
In addition, there is a chance to use your English with any other guests from all over the world who might be staying with us during your stay. Of course, what the nationality and mother-tongue of other guests will be, is out of our control.
On the first course day, you will be given a short test to establish your exact level.
